Hello again, friends! It’s Alicia from The Baker Upstairs, and I’m so excited to share this strawberry lemonade smoothie recipe with you today. It’s super thick and creamy, sweet and tangy, and bursting with flavor. It has only three ingredients, takes just a few minutes to make, and tastes just like summer in a cup!

Do you have any picky eaters at your house? My normally sweet and easygoing six year old is going through an extremely picky phase right now, and keeps turning her little nose up at foods that used to be her favorite. I’ve tried to entice her with pretty much all of the foods she likes, from macaroni and cheese, to chicken nuggets, to pizza, and all to no avail. She will eat just a few bites of her lunch or dinner, and tell me that she’s finished. She seems pretty determined to subsist on a diet of just goldfish crackers and applesauce pouches, and it’s driving me a little crazy! Even if she is getting enough calories (which I seriously doubt) she’s definitely not getting enough vitamins and nutrients.

The only solution I’ve found lately is to feed her smoothies as often as possible. She will never say no to a good smoothie! I can usually sneak in several servings of fruit (and even some veggies here and there) and she will drink it up quickly and with no complaints. We’ve tried pretty much every variety, from our favorite healthy green breakfast smoothie, to this delicious and protein-packed cinnamon roll smoothie. This strawberry lemonade smoothie is definitely a little more toward the dessert end of the smoothie spectrum, but it still gives her a good-sized serving of fruit, which is a huge win in my book!
